Code and Creativity
Our current unit in science is Earth's Changing Climate. We first read an article to gain a better understanding on weather and climate. Students highlighted and annotated important details from the article, using a digital double-bubble map to compare and contrast the two terms.
Later in the week, our LRS came in to help my students begin designing a website of their own on climate change. They had a chance to customize the main homepage that will include climate and weather and the important takeaways of this unit. Students will continue to add to the website as we learn more about climate change. When they finished their homepage, they moved on and created an "About Me" page which introduces them to their audience and gives a little insight on why they created their website. Overall, the students loved displaying their creativity on Google Sites and I am super excited to see what they come up with!
