Young children are in nearly constant motion! Moving makes children feel capable and confident, releases tension, and builds strong bodies and minds. Children's love of movement makes this study of exercise very exciting! We have tried many types of exercise like Yoga-Tree Pose
Or we learned the Cobra Pose:
Playing sports is another way to exercise-like basketball:
Or we tried a little weight lifting:
We also checked our heart rate after a little music and dance and sure enough our bodies are working hard, even if we are having fun dancing!
