SEL Service Learning

As we approach the end of this school year, students have been working on a project that truly encapsulates the spirit of mindfulness and its profound impact on our young learners. Our 4th graders have been on an incredible journey exploring mindfulness strategies throughout the year, and now, they are taking their knowledge and spreading it to others.

We first began by exploring the variety of resources provided by our district in the "Virtual Calming Room" to see what resources helped our students be mindful.

With hearts full of compassion and minds brimming with wisdom, our students have embarked on a mission to share the importance and benefits of mindfulness with others. Through a collaborative effort, they have been diligently crafting brochures and presentations to showcase what they've learned and teach others how to cultivate mindfulness in their own lives.

In our classroom, mindfulness is more than just a practice; it's a way of life—a guiding light that helps us navigate through life's ups and downs with resilience and empathy.

We can see the dedication and creativity our students have poured into this project. From designing colorful brochures to delivering insightful presentations, each student has contributed their unique talents to make this endeavor a resounding success.
