Spooky Season in Second Grade

What a week we've had! Normally, I just explain one activity from the week that was exciting, but this time I'm going to list multiple, because we just had too many fun things going on this week!

First of all, it was Red Ribbon Week. Students were encouraged to participate in the Spirit Day activities to raise awareness for our anti-drug and anti-violence week. Check out our awesome Spirit Week participants:

We have also been doing spooky-themed activities all week to prepare for Halloween. We did sight word painting, by using a white crayon and watercolor paints to practice our words:

We wrote spooky stories and opinions about our favorite fall activities. We did a tree craft that shows our favorite season, and we even did a bonus classbuilder for this fun week. One of the highlights of our week (and all of Goodrich's week!) is the Haunted Obstacle Course in PE!

We sure had a fun week, and hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween! 👻
