Some of the best days in Kindergarten are Tuesday when we get to meet with our 6th-grade buddies! The smiles, laughs, and learning are enough to last a lifetime. Today was the first day of buddies and the Kindergarten students could not wait to meet their 6th grade buddies. The students interviewed each other to learn about their favorite foods, activities, books, and songs. The first day was a success!
Throughout the year on Tuesdays, the Kindergarten and 6th grade students will meet both in the classroom and outside on the playground. Activities will take place such as board games, reading together, making crafts, and doing various teambuilders. Both the 6th-grade and Kindergarten students enjoy being able to see each other and form strong bonds throughout the year.
We cannot wait for the fun to be had for the rest of this school year!
