Art with Ms. Huber

This is the first of many art projects on display inside Goodrich Elementary. This is the first bulletin board seen when coming out of the main office into our school. Our second graders have been practicing their drawing skills while talking about how some colors remind us of different feelings and emotions. 

Last week students read, “The Color Monster” and were challenged to draw along. This week they were given the opportunity to make an emoji of their own! We have had so much fun practicing our drawing and coloring skills. 

We are all so excited to start painting soon. We will continue learning about color, but also how they can be mixed and organized. And most importantly, we will continue practicing our classroom procedures and how to use our materials correctly and safely.
