Last Friday, the kindergarteners got to participate in our year end Character Day celebration. We prepare for this day by reviewing all of the story book characters that we have learned about throughout the year. The students took part in this day by dressing as their favorite storybook character and participating in a breakout challenge to figure out story clues. They worked together to open locks to check if they were correct and had to work as a team and collaborate to try different ways if they didn't get it the first time. The kids had so much fun on this day and were so happy to remember all of the stories we read throughout the year.
