Part of our science curriculum is to talk about weather. Each day we analyze the weather and talk about what seasonal changes can bring us. As a way to investigate this further, we went outside for a snow walk to explore the snow through the senses. We did this by touching the snow to feel the cold, tasting it by catching it in our mouths, seeing it around us, and hearing our feet crunching in the snow or splashing in the puddles that were left from the snow that had melted. This walk left us with so much excitement for the winter weather to come.
