Yes, while we were off on a lovely field
trip to North Central College last week to see
the play;The Wizard of Oz, I spent the
night before worrying...
I worried that a child might get sick,
or lost...
I worried that I forgot to order
the buses…
I worried that the students would have forgotten
how to be a good audience…
I worried that the production wouldn't meet
my expectations...
I worry that someone would have forgotten
their lunch …
All that worrying for nothing! ABC Production
did an amazing job retelling the story in an hour.
Our children were the most polite and
respectful audience in the crowd. And
everyone brought in a lunch! And yes, I
did order buses...
Maybe I should stop worrying about field
trips and start enjoying them.
