Goal Making!!

This first week being back at school since break we have been focused on the idea of a fresh start
and creating goals that we can work towards.
Our first day back on Monday we focused on why goal setting is so important for us to do.

We made a promise as a class that the goals that we set will be something that we are passionate
about. So as we went over the importance of goals as a class we went over our criteria for the goals
that we will set. Our number one criteria was for our goal to be something we are passionate about,
for our goals to continue to motivate us, and something that we can see growth on and reflect about.

The students were each given note cards where they created their own goals. On their
note card, using the criteria we came up with the students wrote their goal and the steps they
will take to  achieve it. The students all took great pride in their goals and took their time and will,
think of how they could accomplish their goals.

I am very excited to see how my students work towards their new goals!!
