Over the Schoolyard and Through the Halls

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
To Thanksgiving break we go;
In my dad’s car, we’ll drive all the way,
I hope we have some snow!

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
Oh, how Dr. Scaletta roars!
Have fun, be safe, and practice too,
For your math and reading scores!

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
Now our empty turkey sits,
We thank you all for veggies and fruits,
And helping out others a bit.

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
Eat turkey and have a ball!
Enjoy family and friends, reach out to them,
Be thankful for them all!

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
Read and math facts are also fun,
Go on a website to play some challenging games,
Greg Tang’s seems to be the best one!

Over the schoolyard and through the halls,
We’ll return to school in a few days!
Hurrah for a break! Hurrah to relax!
Be ready to work in many ways!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,
Goodrich School
