Safety first!

First of all, welcome back! It is so nice to see everyone back and to see some new faces among the crowds of children filling the Goodrich halls! For some of our families, the first person to welcome our children to school each day are our safety patrols. These students wake up early, get to school before all of the other children and get ready to help out at parent drop off. This is a huge responsibility and we are so grateful for these kids and their willingness to take on this very important job. 

You will see them as you round the car line in their brightly colored orange vests. They open each door with a smile and wish you well as you venture off for the rest of your day. Occasionally, they need to help wake up a sleepy child, unfasten a seatbelt and even pull a heavy backpack out of the car for a little one. They do so with kindness, enthusiasm and a great big smile. 

Please be on the lookout for these fantastic volunteers and remember to drive carefully:)
