Our classroom theme has been based around National Parks. We have a camp ranger
who is the teacher’s assistant and our tables are named after the various parks.
For our final writing project, we decided to have the students research one of the National Parks. Students were given a graphic organizer and the computer and books and off they went to
discover facts and important events about the national park they chose.
Students will be making ranger badges to wear as they present their parks to the
second graders on Friday. Stay tuned to see how this turned out!
