As the year comes to a close, we find ourselves finishing up important units, projects and assessments. Once those are completed there are a few buffer days that can be used for other things that don't necessarily fit into the curriculum. This year I chose to create an explore board for the students to choose activities from. These activities are a culmination of elements learned throughout the course of the year.
The above menu shows just a fraction of elements we explored throughout the year. Below there are menu screens that show some of the specific slides the students chose to complete today. They have had a blast reviewing and playing some of these games they played this year.
I have seen so many smiles as they work together to complete the activities and I have enjoyed giving them the freedom to finish out the year with some fun:)
