Drop the Rock!

In kindergarten, one of our favorite things that we do throughout the year is buddy time with 6th grade. We started doing this last week and met our buddies for the first time. This week with our buddies, we played Drop The Rock, a Kagan collaborative learning structure. This game is one where the students face the finish line and another student drops an eraser in their hand. The students then have to race to the finish line once they see the student holding the eraser running to the finish line. This was such a fun activity that we were able to do together. The kids and their buddies were so excited to see each other again!
