This week we are finishing off our Pickleball and Badminton Units.
One of my favorite things about these two sports is that they are very new to many of the kids. However - Pickleball has gained SO much popularity over the last decade that more and more kids have played it at least once outside of school.
The best thing about playing these sports is all the Hand-Eye Coordination work we put in. We use a wide variety of equipment with the paddles and rackets to work on this. From flipping a bean bag like a pancake, to a koosh ball, bean bag animals, yarn balls, foam balls, pickle balls, badminton birdies and even balloons at our younger levels.
The kids have had a blast playing these games and even got the opportunity to challenge Mrs. Weber in Pickleball matches! If you have the opportunity to try these sports as a family, DO IT!!
