Science Fun

Recently, 4th graders visited the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. I was surprised at how many students had not been to the museum before, so it was really cool to see their reactions to the exhibits; especially the hands ones.

Haven’t been to the museum in a while? Well come along and see a few things we did during our visit.

Students study the effects of wind as they learn about severe weather and storms.

So this is what a hamster feels like! In the YOU! Exhibit, students were able to run in the life-size Hamster Wheel. I got tired just watching them!!!

Students got dance lessons from virtual coaches as their moves are projected on the big screen.

They had a great time and learned so about science; especially that science can be fun!
