We Have Moved…
The leaves aren’t the only things changing this fall! The
First Grade Puppy Pound is being relocated. This year we have a full house in
First Grade. The class size combined with the small classroom we are in just
wasn’t acting as the best and most effective learning environment for our
students. Since Goodrich is such a close knit family, everyone got to work in
brainstorming and offering suggestions on how to make this work. We have
decided to move our room to be down near the art room. Not only is this giving
us more space to do cooperative learning and movement breaks, it is also
allowing us to have lockers so we don’t have to store our backpacks and coats
in the classroom.
Today the move begins. Tomorrow, Election Day, will be the
day we set up our new rooms and get them ready for the First Graders on
Wednesday.
We had so many helpers working together. The teamwork in this school is outstanding and I am so proud to point out all of the amazing helpers here at Goodrich. So many were not even photographed, but you are appreciated!
