Working Together-Mrs. Adams 3rd Grade

Learning to cooperatively work together is an important skill in 3rd grade.  The students in Mrs. Adams’ class have been practicing this important concept.  Today, the students had to keep a balloon from hitting the ground while holding onto three other students’ hands.  They were required to work together, talk and take turns to keep the balloon from falling on the ground.  Team building activities such as this one, helps us form relationships with our classmates. This year the 3rd graders will continue to use Kagan strategies to work cooperatively with one another in all the subject areas.  “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” ― Benjamin Franklin
